7Stones Boracay was recently awarded TripAdvisor’s coveted Traveller’s Choice awards, a reputation that we love having. As much as we can fan ourselves with how good our service and facilities are compared to everyone else, people won’t take our word for it.

Perhaps our guests this year, who all left with big smiles on their faces, can convince you instead. Here they are!

We were happy to have munish2005 and his family stay with us last June, and here’s what he had to say:

“Boracay is a beautiful place and every resort is great. 7Stones is a nice resort with a very cozy and comfortable feel. The resort is near the beach. They have one restaurant which serves great food. The rooms are nice. We upgraded to a family suite which was really nice as it had a small Jacuzzi. My daughter loved it. The staff is polite and helpful. Room service might take some time but the food is good. The breakfast menu is really nice and provides unique selection of dishes. Overall a nice property and love to stay there again.”

We’d love to have you back again with us, munish2005! Glad you enjoyed your stay with 7Stones Boracay!

From the jetty to the hotel, chew i from Selangor shares with us a very comprehensive writeup about her experience with 7Stones Boracay.

“Firstly, transport from airport to jetty. We did not reserve online for the transportation, instead we took a cab. You can see them waiting outside the airport. Taking a cab is far better than a bus, which takes about an hour plus to reach the jetty. We book the same cab when way back. Often online you see u some mention you need departure 5 hours in advance from your flight time, for us about 3 hours advance is enough. The airport is small, and often long queue for check in and check out. Do not worry about the boat transfer, boat come very frequent.

7Stones Boracay is located at Bulabog Beach, which is the more quiet part of the island, it is a beautiful resort, great service with very friendly staff, nice rooms, great pool, and a great view (especially if you like flying kites- you can do that here), less crowded, more privacy.

The most i love is the Puka Beach, which we went to on the last day of our trip, crystal clear water. It was beautiful!”

You were a gracious guest as well, chew i. We hope to see you back here again!

 R. Alexander came to 7Stones Boracay last March, and here’s what they had to say about us.

“I had a great time at 7stones boracay. The photos you’ve seen online is same as you see it in actual. Staff were very helpful though the location of the hotel was a bit hidden surrounded by residential so you need tricycle to get to the place. It is very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. FYI, never adhere to tourist guide that will take you around the island because they charge over the top. Upon arrival we avail the guide but after me and my sister found out. It will never cost you 2,500 pesos if you just stroll around and commute on your own. Overall the hotel is amazing.”

Thanks for the lovely review and awesome tips! Please come to Boracay again soon; we’ll be waiting!

  1. Gulseren M, rated us 5/5

Gulseren M and her family were with us for a week, and here’s what she had to say:

“We stayed for a week in a two-bedroom suite (me, my husband, my 2.5 year-old-son and our nanny). It was a huge two-bedroom unit with a huge living room, a fully-equipped kitchen and a huge balcony. We enjoyed our time at 7-stones and had a relaxing time.

Location: We chose this hotel because it is located on a quiet beach (the famous white sand beach is very crowded and noisy). This beach is popular among kite boarders (it was nice to watch dozens of kites in the mornings). It was mostly windy in the mornings when we were there (except the last day). However, I see this as a plus because the wind was nice and cool as opposed to the just hot air on the white beach. My 2 two-year-old enjoyed playing with the sand all morning and all afternoon. Also, it is only 10 minute walk to the white beach if you want to go.

Service: The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Our every wish was fulfilled literally within 3 minutes by the staff. (i.e., I asked for a stainless steel pan to fry some local fish and a sharp knife. They were at the door in 3 minutes). We also arranged a pick-up and drop-off from the airport using the hotel’s services. (Getting to Boracay island is a hassle, you need to two-short bus rides and a boat ride, you need separate tickets for the boat ride and unbelievable amount of bureaucracy!). The staff helped us at every step, ensured the safe delivery of our luggage (and deserved a great tip). (I suggest to use the hotel’s services, otherwise you will lose a lot of time). Because of all of these, I give the staff a five star.

Facilites: There is a restaurant (7th Note Cafe) where you eat the breakfast, a small play area for kids, a small pool and a pool bar. The breakfast was good (it is not open buffet but you order a main from the restaurant menu, beef tapas is recommended). They also set up a bar by the beach in the afternoon for drinks. They also have a steak night every Saturday where they set the tables by the beach. The chef cooks the meat there alongside live music. It was fully booked when we ate there. The meat, the service and the atmosphere was excellent.”

You know what else was excellent? You and your family! We’d be happy to have you back here soon!

5Neil B, rated us 5/5

Neil B and his family were with us during October, and we had a lot of fun serving them! Now, we wonder what he thought about us:

“This aparthotel is on the webcam on the quieter side of the island, but only 5/10 minutes walk away from the “white beach” side, this suited us well, very easy to get into the heart of the action, but lovely oasis to relax when you want (need!) to.

Rooms were great, very spacious and well laid out.

Staff were super friendly, with plenty of people all eager to assist, everyone greeted us with a smile. One of staff invited our boys to join him in an inter hotel football game over on the white beach, which proved to be a great afternoon. Would highly recommend this hotel!”

Neil and his family are always welcome here at 7Stones Boracay. We’re waiting with open arms for you all!

  1. SoccerMom318, rated us 5/5

SoccerMom318 and her family came to Boracay for some well-deserved R&R back in July, and here’s what she had to say about her stay:

“7 Stones Boracay Suites was such a wonderful surprise to me and my family. We just returned from our trip a week ago and I’m already missing the place! I found this hotel online but was not too sure of it’s location (located on Bulabog Beach).

It’s only a 10 minute walk to D’Mall and the main beach. Our suite was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4. Facilities were clean and the staff members are all nice and helpful. They accommodated my request for a couple’s massage on the beach (normally done in the suite) and to dine on the beach (as oppose to eating at the 7Note Cafe).

Breakfast was included everyday for all 4 of us, which is also a great plus! It’s convenient and we were ready to start our day after breakfast. Also a plus is having it’s own quiet beach, especially in the morning and end of day, a nice get-away from the very crowded White Sand/Stations 1 & 2.

Because of it’s open concept (no lobby doors), there’s a 24-hour security guard. We totally felt safe there. Also, every afternoon, there’s a turn-down service and they leave plates of freshly baked treats!

Lastly, since we visited in July, the wind (Habagat season) blows on the main beach and Bulabog beach is calm and perfect for water activities! Don’t miss the rooftop! A special shout-out to Dindo, the bar tender/waiter who waited on us most of our stay, Rochelle at front desk, and Sobair, the concierge! Thank you so much for our excellent stay! I totally recommend this hotel!”

The real pleasure in this, of course, is having you and your family with us. We hope to see you again!

All of these reviews are unedited and are pulled word-for-word from our TripAdvisor page, and are made by real people who were guests here at 7Stones Boracay. So if their words are not enough to paint you a clear picture of what to expect with us, it’s about time to experience it for yourself! Come on over to Boracay and stay with 7Stones Boracay for a great experience!

Where to Stay in Boracay: Bulabog Beach vs White Beach

Ah, Boracay. It’s the best island in the world, a claim that it doesn’t make without good reason. As proof, we see throngs of travelers pass through its fine sandy beaches by the thousands, and all of them walking back to the airport a week after filled with nothing but praises for the island, and a little bit sad that they had to leave at all.shi

What most people don’t know about the island is you actually have two options on how you want to have your Boracay experience: you spend it in either Bulabog Beach, the eastern side of the island, or White Beach, which is in the west. Both sides of the island boast different things, and we’re here to help you pick out the best choice to make your Boracay visit a memorable one.

1. Peace and quiet, or hours of noise and reverie?

privacy

First off, what are you looking for during your stay? Some people would rather spend their beach trip just chilling along a quiet shoreline, letting the wind brush against their face and the surf take over every other sound they hear. Still others prefer to be in a crazy, chaotic, and stimulating beachfront filled with bars, restaurants, and tons of things to do at night – basically, a beach that doesn’t sleep.

Bulabog Beach is where you’d want to go if you’re looking to escape to somewhere quiet and serene. White Beach is where you’d be at if you’re looking to spend your Boracay time partying it up with throngs of other revelers, which is an experience in itself!

2. Which way is the wind blowing?

This is a useful tidbit for those looking to do watersports in Boracay (of which there are many.) Two winds blow on the island during the year. For the first half of the year, the Habagat (westerly winds) are dominant in White Beach, making it the best place to be in if you’re looking to do a little windsurfing or kitesurfing while you’re here. Come October though, the Amihan (easterly winds) brings its gentle but constant winds to Bulabog Beach, and all the watersports activities move there for that season.

When you’re looking to do watersports in Boracay, the choice of beach really falls down to which way the wind is blowing at the time. Do your research before booking!

3. Going for a dip?

What’s the point of going to the beach if you won’t get into the water? White Beach and Bulabog Beach are both home to some of the clearest azure waters in the world, and it’s no contest between the two in which one is more swimmable, except for one thing: the amount of people you’ll be sharing the water with.

Sure, the sea is big and wide and has room for everyone, but it can be a bit overwhelming to have hundreds of people in the same patch of water with you at any given time. So if you’re looking for a little more privacy when you dip into the salty waters, think of Bulabog Beach. Otherwise, if you’re fine enough with having people all around you, go for White Beach!

4. Which one has more things to do?

where to stay

Bulabog Beach’s charm is in its seclusion, being a little more private than White Beach, affording those who visit it a semblance of peace in a beautiful tropical island. But White Beach is where Boracay truly comes alive, blowing everyone away with a host of awesome activities, vibrant people, excellent cuisine, and, best of all, cheap drinks.

This is more of a matter of picking out what you want to do most: relax, or go all out and have fun. Whatever you choose, Boracay will be happy to provide what you need!

5. Where is the best accommodation?

7stones to stay

Now this is where things get interesting. Bulabog Beach and White Beach offer widely different options when it comes to beach resorts and hotels in Boracay. White Beach, being people’s go-to Boracay destination, is literally littered with accommodations that range from the lackluster to the overly-garish; there’s something for everyone. But here’s a glaring problem: it’s in White Beach, which is without doubt the noisiest part of the island. So if it’s 2am and you still can’t sleep because of the racket other late-night partiers are making, you’ll know you made a mistake somewhere.

Which is where Bulabog Beach shines through, because it’s where 7Stones Boracay Suites is. It is arguably the most peaceful spot in all of the island, as it is tucked deep within Bulabog Beach, away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfares and hotspots in the island, affording its guests the peace and serenity they deserve when they’re escaping in this tropical paradise. If you’re looking for the best accommodation that Boracay can offer, there’s no other choice to make than 7Stones Boracay Suites.

Despite all of these choices, 7Stones Boracay Suites offers shuttles that take you to and from these two beaches, so sometimes, it’s not a choice at all! We’ll be happy to give you the best stay possible here at Boracay, so book your Boracay stay with us today!
