7th Note Cafe Hosts the NeilPryde Cabrinha 26th Boracay International Funboard Cup
On January 26 to 31, 2015, Bulabog Beach in Boracay became the center of action as it hosted the 26th NeilPryde Cabrinha International Funboard Cup. Over 100 participants from around the world competed in several windsurfing and kiteflying events such as slalom racing, speed competition, hang time, and freestyle.
The welcome dinner on the 26th was hosted by 7th Note Cafe with Malay Vice Mayor Wilbec Gelito, Nenette Graf, the Founder of the Boracay International Funboard Cup, and Boyet Javelona Sison, the event’s host gracing the event. The participants feasted on a buffet of different international cuisines. Over the scrumptious dinner, the participants and organizers got to know each other and discussed the week-long competition ahead of them.
During the awarding ceremony, Malin Amle of Norway emerged as the top lady kitesurfer for winning the fastest lady, twin tip kite slalom race and ladies freestyle champion.
